Ramadhan oh Ramadhan
The holy month of Ramadhan starts on Tuesday, 2 September 2008 for Brunei. I heard that it will be tomorrow for the UK. Will check with other countries of interest. The normal question or FAQ regarding why different countries starts the month differently always arise at moment like this. It’s the same moon, yes right, but we are of different locations and some countries do not use the method of sighting moon as to determine when the month start.
The following is actually a comment from Mr UES i called him, Edward, who frequented my blog. UES is a company which sells the Dr Tron machine and offer free therapy. I have decided to include his comment in this post as it relates to fasting.
I will write more…

Ramadan is just around the corner. Just a piece of ‘fasting’ advice. Start preparing yourself today. reduce food intake. 3/4 fullness, 3 meals a day, veggies and fruits or fruits only. Avoid meat, processed food, even white rice (sub with brown rice) if possible. Into Ramadan, be mindful when berbuka puasa. Plz refrain from indulging too much solid food. The best way is to start with a glass of water (with 2 slices of lemon if possible) and at least 3 kurma. Then to the prayers (be mindful when praying). After that, vegetable or fruit juices is recommended for ease of digestion, fiber and nutrients. If there’s still hunger pangs, take foods which is easy to digest and gentle to the stomach like porridge. REMEMBER! Fasting is the best way to detoxify the body’s system (if done correctly), so let your digestive system take a holiday and start turbocharging your excretion and immune system…. Selamat berpuasa.
