I watched the TRANSFORMERS last night – its premier here in our homeland. This is a synopsis on the movie from the Paramount Pictures:

In 2003, the Beagle Mars Rover was launched. We were told that it crashed. Its final transmission was classified top secret. It was the only warning we were given. Now the dueling alien races of the Autobots and the Decepticons have brought their battle to Earth and the future of humankind is hanging in the balance. It’s their war, but it’s our world!

All this time I heard or read about it and saw its trailers, I thought it will be yet another one of those sci-fi movies where the good ones fight to save man(or robot)kind and the evil will, at the end, be vanished off.

I was right! But more than that, funny thing is I enjoyed the movie because I felt good after coming out of the cinema. This is how I rate what a good or bad movie is.

The story line and plot flowed nicely, just that the first part of the movie introduced alot of characters that if one did not concentrate and followed it closely, they would get lost on who is who.

Also the ‘transformation’ from the cute, poshy and solid cars to the transformers were really quick. I wish the editing would show a slow transition of the frames so viewers could see how they were transformed after all this movie is all about transformation right.

A good family watch with a lot of parental guidance (though its not officially rated as yet) if you are watching with your family with children. There are mild sex, humour and language in it.

I will give this movie a 5 out of 10. Titanic is still the best ever movie.
