Info from Wikipedia:

The Millau Viaduct (French: le Viaduc de Millau) is a large cable-stayed road-bridge that spans the valley of the River Tarn near Millau in southern France. Designed by the structural engineer Michel Virlogeux and British architect Norman Foster, it is the tallest vehicular bridge in the world, with one mast’s summit at 343 metres (1,125 ft) – slightly taller than the Eiffel Tower and only 38 m (125 ft) shorter than the Empire State Building. The viaduct is part of the A75-A71 autoroute axis from Paris to Béziers. It was formally dedicated on 14 December 2004, inaugurated the day after and opened to traffic two days later.

The record for highest bridge deck in the world is likely to be taken by the Chenab Bridge in the Reasi District of Jammu and Kashmir, India, scheduled for completion in December 2009, which will be 359 metres (1,180 ft) high.

So how about building a bridge from Bukit Patoi in Temburong to Bukit Subok in Bandar to Bukit Shahbandar in Jerudong to Bukit Ambok in Tutong and ends in Seria?

Sports Car versus Quran by Ahmad Fulani

In Dreams, Family, Islam, Moral Values, relationship, religion on May 20, 2008 at 12:42 pm

FOR many months, a young man had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer’s showroom. Knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.

As Graduation Day approached, he waited signs that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his graduation his father called him into his private study. His father said that he was proud to have such a fine son. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box.

Curious, but somewhat disappointed the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Quran. Angrily, he raised his voice at his father and said “With all your money you give me a Quran?” He stormed out of the house, leaving the Holy Book.

Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make arrangements, he received a message telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He went home immediately.

When he arrived sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. He began to search his father’s important papers and saw the still new Quran, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Quran and began to turn the pages.

As he read those words, a car key dropped from an envelope taped behind the Quran. It had a tag with the dealer’s name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words… PAID IN FULL.
